You can't go wrong with this price. I tend to write a lot by hand and ballpoints cramp up my hands too much. Fountain pens are great but the ink doesn't go with every type of paper. So I bought these and they write very smooth, dark lines, and very consistent. Not my favorite pen in the drawer, but the price is too good to pass up for these types of pens. I do prefer the thicker UniBall Sanford rollerball pens -- the performance is identical (as is the ink, I believe) -- it's just a different style barrel. This one is too thin for my hands.
