Life Saver
I just received this in the mail today and it is awesome. My nonsmart tv only has a digital coaxial rca connection and no hdmi arc support. This little device helped me to connect my new soundbar which uses hdmi arc or toslink for use. Next all you have to do is turn off speakers on tv and set your tv remote to control the soundbar's volume. Super cool!

Life Saver

Needed to connect older TV to Soundbar
The Monoprice Coaxial to Optical converter was just the thing I needed to connect my older TV. It had a digital output but it used the RCA connector type instead of the newer Optical Toslink.
