Pure delight
I absolutely love this product, I find myself in the coffee isle marking it to other coffee drinkers, lol. I buy at least 3 at a time so I can never run out. This coffee reminds me of sitting on the porch in the summer, enjoying the early morning air, it’s absolutely amazing and I hope it never goes away. Thanks again Folgers for bringing me happiness in every cup.

it's good but there are others
The office coffee is good but foges is deceptive and wanting to tell you it has notes of a chocolatey taste but they will not tell you point blank there is there is not any cocoa in this coffee. But they love to tell you it's a chocolatey taste over and over.

Ordinary coffee--recipe has clearly changed:(
This coffee used to be my absolute favorite, it WAS terrific, bold with a slightly chocolate aftertaste--I just bought again after years of not buying and unfortunately the recipe has clearly changed (its not my water or my tastes!) b/c it is absolutely not what is was, its now very ordinary--very disappointed, I really was looking forward to the 1850 I knew and loved....

Where did it go
If you're wonderful coffee to drink to start voice flavors a hint of chocolate and caramel really taste it was worth the money the Roma itself was moving very lovely and always love opening a box of it but right now just have been having a hard time finding it cuz he wants to retails too many quit carrying it except odds which is a misfortunate I hope it returns to my a...

For the last few years I have used this coffee for Frappuccinos. Best I have used. So of course Folgers, in their infinite wisdom, discontinues it! Every Flipping product I have liked and have used for years gets discontinued by ignorant companies. NONE of the other Folgers products are nearly good enough to switch too so I will have to try other companies. I grow sick ...

Just okay
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 1850 Black Gold Ground Coffee by Folgers was just okay. I am personally not a fan of dark roasts, so I wasn’t a huge fan. The packaging was great, offered a lot of product.

Mr. Coffee
Found one lonely container of this, and I'm searching high & low for more. This was uncommonly good coffee, especially for ground. Reminds me of how Folger's used to taste, only fresher, with a more robust and intense flavour. When you get a whiff of the "Mountain-Grown" aroma, you'll feel inspired to begin your day.

No going back!
This coffee is amazing! I'm usually a Black Silk drinker, but I saw this and thought I'd give it a try. Now, there's no going back! Literally, I tried to go back to Black Silk and it just couldn't hold it's own against the 1850 Black Gold. My only complaint is that the packaging doesn't keep the coffee as fresh as it could. Other than that, pure perfection

Great Strong Coffee Flavor

Best Coffee Ever
I’m a retired peace officer who spent forty years of drinking sub par coffee. I have become somewhat of a coffee snob since those days. Folgers 1850, Black Gold is by far the best coffee I have ever had. Smooth, rich flavor. I’m a big fan.

A bit of chocolate
This is a big improvement for Folgers. There is a distinctive chocolate flavor in the background. It doesn’t reach the consistency of another famous brand for thick rich coffee flavor

So good!

Lovely
