    I use this notebook for keeping my lessons in for my Bible College classes. I can also put extra paper in the back to use for the notes that I take during class. I really like the rubberized binding and edges of the notebook because I do to not have to worry about the excessive use causing the plastic to start separating. Also I don't have to worry about carrying it with me everywhere that I go. Most notebooks start showing the wear and tear on them along the edges and especially at the top and bottom of the spine especially if they are carried around alot, but with the Better Binder that is not a problem. The vary of colors is a plus because I can use a different color for each class that I am taking or for each of my projects that I am working on. But whatever I use them for, I know that I'm not going to wear out the edges or the spine of the book that I'm using a lot. I also like the way the pockets are made on the inside - it makes it very easy to slide any papers into with only one hand and not having to lift the pocket open enough to start to store my papers in like other notebooks that I have used in the past. So far, I do not have anything negative to say about the Better Binder.

    This is the worst product we purchased from Staples. The closure mechanism came apart in a say or so and could not be fixed. Even the cover coloring was not uniform. wee were so upset we did not even want to go through the trouble of returning the product. We replaced it with a binder from another store for my student daughter, at a much lower price and much better quality..Very disappointed that Staples would carry such shoddy products..

        The rubberized edges certainly help the durability aspect, however, they also make it difficult to slide into a bag. A material of a more sleek nature would help to put it into a backpack or bag. The same rubberized hinge is perfect for durability. The "D" rings are very durable and close properly. The one-handed tab for opening the "D" rings is a bonus in the ease of operation. The matte finish on the cover sleeve lends to a more durable look and feel. The pockets on the inside of each cover are durable but could use a little more give to accommodate thicker booklets and pamphlets.

          These are by far the best binders I have ever owned. They come in a great set of colors and sizes. I've owned several different ones for separate purposes as well as have bought some to give away. I love the plastic cover so I can add my own personal touch to them!!

              I needed to organize paperwork for school. Handouts and homework assignments were building up and a folder wasn't making the grade! Tried an old binder that I had, but the binder ring kept catching pages---inefficient! I knew I should get a slant ring binder. So this "D ring" was great. Also, discovered with the D ring that many more pages fit into the binder than with a regular "o ring". The binder also came in many colors, so I chose 1 to match the notebook for my classes. This makes it easy to quickly grab all the colors for my class on the way out the door to school! Great!
