This product used to come with a separate card to prevent write-thoughs.

When you tear off the front cover for this purpose, it exposes the sheets for possible tears and wear marks.

I now have to create my own separate card (a cut-to-fit cardboard sheet) for write-throughs.

A separate write-through card preserves the integrity and neatness of the receipt book.

A separate card is included in the "bounded" receipt book. Why has it been eliminated in the "spiral" receipt book?
