Q: Will this Display Rail hold a 16" x 20" X-Ray film? We have a similar-looking product that uses glass marbles captive in an aluminum extrusion, that does not work. It will hold light, letter-size papers, but will not hold the large films. Asked on 9/24/2012 by None Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: According to reviews by various users, this product will accept x-ray film without marring the film and is well within the weight restrictions of the device. Q: Will this allow an item that is longer than 24" to extend over the ends? For example, could I use the 24" rail to hold one sheet of 28" poster board? Asked on 6/22/2012 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: No, the ends of the rail are closed off, so nothing bigger will fit onto it. Q: If you had it down low on a wall, would an infant be able to get their fingers pinched in it? Do you think the corners are rounded enough to protect a child that might fall against it? I would like to be able to use it in an infant classroom to display pictures low enough for infants to see easily, but unsure if there would be safety hazards. Asked on 4/26/2012 by Marilyn from Carterville, IL Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: Because this is made of aluminum and the sides of the roller have slat edges I wouldn't recommend it around youngsters. Because it's secured not only with mounting tape but also brackets it could potentially be dangerous around children. Answered on 4/30/2012 by Community Answer from None A: This unit is not recommended for use around young children. Answered on 5/1/2012 by Darlene S from Staples
Q: Is the mounting tape that comes with this item easy to remove from the wall if one wanted to move the strip? Asked on 2/1/2012 by Sherri from Little Rock, AR Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: The mounting tape that is provided is very durable to hold the product to withstand the amount of times the items are put in and pulled out of the GAS, so it is not easily removed once applied. Q: I would like to know exactly how this product works. Do you need to lift the silver part up and slide the papers out the end to remove them? Also, in the description it states that it holds 24 papers, is that the thickness of the papers that it will hold? Asked on 8/31/2009 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: You just push the paper directly up into the rail, between the front face and rear face. Lots of little individual rollers are on the inside and friction/gravity holds the paper in place. To remove the paper, you slide slightly upwards then sideways & downwards. You don't have to touch or release anything, you're only touching the paper. I've used these in several offices and am now ordering some for personal use at home. It's a great product and doesn't damage the paper, super easy to use. The 24 papers means it can hold a packet of papers up to 24 pages thick. That seems like a lot to me, but I'm sure it would hold at least close to that many. Answered on 9/6/2009 by Anonymous New York from New York City A: There are little rollers inside. You gently insert the paper from below (move it directly up into the mount) and to remove it, you slide it slowly sideways and down in a diagonal motion. When the paper is in, the gravity of the rollers on the paper holds it in place. You don't touch anything but the paper, and it's really really easy to use, and holds paper VERY well. I think the reference to holding 24 papers is how thick of a stack of papers you could hold in one spot - for example, if you had a 20 page set of instructions that you wanted to keep handy, you could store it here in one stacked block. I've used these before at several offices and I have really loved it - I'm here ordering some for personal use at home. Answered on 9/6/2009 by Anonymous New York from New York City
