These 1/3 cut printable file label sheets from Avery -- the only brand available in an "office supplies" store -- were a waste of money. The price is outrageous to begin with, the template from Avery didn't set up correctly, and the printed labels ran off of the LEFT edge of the label. But the biggest problem is the adhesive. It's very poor -- these file labels will most likely fall off of the folders over time. I'm looking online for a better, more reasonably priced substitute.

We used the labels to identify and price items for a yard sale over the weekend. We wanted a label that would hold up in use and yet not leave pieces or adhesive residue when removed. Avery's 8066, White Removable File Folder Labels met our needs. They provided two-lines of text for the marking task and removed without damaging the items after the sale. Worked on all surfaces not just paper or cardboard.

Works great for adjusting labels without having to make a new label. It really doesn't take the file folder up when you need to move the label to the correct position.
