I used these seals to create unique return address labels for an invitation. I used the online template at the Avery website, which proved to be much easier and more exact than using Publisher. The seals are round, so I had the return address printed in a cirle around the edge with a first name in the middle in fancy font. People have commented how much they liked it, and couldn't believe that I created it myself (as opposed to ordering them from a stationary store). I then used the seals to close up the self-mailing invitations, so they served double duty - as a seal and as a return address label. These were great - a wonderful value!

I bought the Avery mailing seals for a monthly church newsletter mailing. Our church had been using ordinary clear [brand name omitted] adhesive tape until I asked last month at the USPS bulk mailing unit for the official USPS guidelines and preferences.
If we carry on using the Avery seals, we will be producing a cleaner, less amateurish mailing, and we will be keeping the Postal Service happy.
HOWEVER, the expense is a concern. The USPS regs require three (!) seals on each booklet. Perhaps Staples can suggest a similar product that is packaged in larger quantities and will cost less per item mailed.
Comments about Avery® Print-or-Write White Mailing Seals, 1-1/2" Diameter, 240/Pack:
Used nearly 1000 to secure a folded multi-page church mailing piece, but found that at least 15% of the seals came UNSTUCK after sitting just a few minutes, despite having been firmly affixed when the pieces were first prepared. The Post Office rejected the entire batch until we re-secured all those where the Avery seals had failed. Scotch Tape was a more reliable alternative which did NOT show any signs of coming loose.
