I'm a mortgage loan originator and when I set up my document folder I use this tape to label the folder tab. When a customer sees their name, they are impressed by the extra yard I go to personalize my work folder. Besides the high price and not always available as a single cartridge, I found it easier to peel if I cut the end with a sharp scissor to help separate or peel the label

I cannot recommend this product. First and foremost, it is ridiculously expensive. And secondly, it is almost impossible to peel off the backing. At least Dymo label tape makes it really easy to peel off the backing. When you are printing a lot of labels, the Brother tape peeling becomes quite tiresome.

      This is a great product! I use it religiously! Whether it is for work organizing my files or at home, this product works wonders. I highly recommend for those people who feel neatness and organization is MUST in their lives! With four kids, this also helps me plan projects for each of them, especially school related. My kids use it as well when they create project boards and assignments. Their presentation really makes a difference and the teachers love it! They set the example in class. Plus, it also pleasing to the eye!

        Love this product. The only drawback with any of the tapes is that the label machines don't make it easy to separate the backing from the label. I don't understand why this is, but I have to spend so much time trying to get the backing off of the label. Kind of ridiculous, but that applies to the label making machine -- not the actual tape. The gold label tape is a very nice touch to our humidors. We use the black on gold tape for the specific cigar brands that we carry, and the black on white for the individual cigar types within each brand. So far, this system works very well.
