Good product but too expensive

The product works very well but never achieves 400 pages. Too expensive for the amount of use attained. I would recommend this product with a warning that it works well but since we the customers have to buy this product even though it is doubtful that the cartridge is filled to capacity.Why is it when I only print in black that the colors run out in short time? If I could use Cartridge World I would due to price.

Why does it take so many cartridges to operate? I couldn't use the black cartridge, which by the way was full of ink, until I bought the magenta. I was trying to print in black only and it still would not allow me to print until I purchased the magenta.

These cartridges are too expensive and don't last long enough. I don't even print in color much at all, and yet they run out anyway, perhaps from all the cleaning sessions the printer takes itself through (automatically).
That said, there are no other choices, I've tried the generic cartridges in the past, big mistake, so we are all slaves to the ink master.
