Brother LC61BKS Black Ink Cartridge

The black ink cartridge is O.K.; but all the color cartridges (sold separately) have dull, muddy colors. I'm sorry I got talked into buying the Brother copier by a Staples salesperson. I came into the store to buy a copier -- and ended up with a fax/scanner/copier which I don't need or want -- and, as opposed to what the salesperson said, it turns out to be more trouble, more expensive, and dismal coloration with the individual color cartridges than when I had a Dell copier with all-in-one color cartridges. I would have returned the Brother (LC61)were it not for the fact that I spent a whole day setting it up, and couldn't bother with packing it up again and going back to Staples.

Brother is expensive to keep running

Warning: This Brother Cartridge and the printer are very expensive if you divide the printed pages by its cost. I have bought several Brothers printer to use at home and they work between 8 to 12 months each at a rate of 12 printed pages by day. The model that uses this cartridge is MFC-295CN. It is the worse of all the others Brothers printers that I have worked. I needed to spend big money in ink to keep it working. I do not recommend any more the use of Brother's printers. They have lower price to hook you, but all of them have the biggest ink cost in the industry.
