    As an artist & person who uses antique items I use the P-touch to create small sales labels. I also use it to create a card for explaining the use of a particular tool. That way instead of having to answer the same question 1,000 times, I can deal with customers while the inquisitive are reading the lable. I take it with me & when I've finished an item I can immediately create the tag.

    Too glossy; too expensive; too much waste when the margin on the labeler was set to small; when set to large, the labels were too long for the file folders. Need something more economical.

                The current labels I'm using came with a Brother QL500 printer and they are 1 1/8th x 3.5". I'm wanting to purchase addition label - but not sure if this is the same basic label that I'm using.

                  You may want to stick with Brother DK2243 Continuous Length White Paper Tape - it's the label tape that is recommended by the manufacturer.
