I used this to pack a seat cushion for re-padding. I had to scrounge newsprint, cardboard, and other materials to complete the job. The wrapping is expensive and a poor substitute for more traditional packing materials.
I thought this would substitute for bubble wrap, but that didn't happen. The biggest difficulty was trying to hold it in place when wrapping an item. You have to try to hold it with one hand, while you wrap the tape around it until the tape overlaps itself, since it won't stick to this wrap. I also wasn't real fond of the texture/feeling. It seems a bit coarse to me, and I wouldn't trust it on polished items (like stainless steel), as I'd be afraid of it leaving scratches. However, I got it at a closeout price, so will use it on occasion.
I used greenwrap to wrap items for storage and to send items in the mail. It cushioned very well, however handling the honeycomb-paper outerwrap gave me a lot of paper cuts. Wear gloves to handle, especially while wrapping items.
This is what I call ca piece of junk (I actually wanted to write the other 4 letter word that starts with 's' but couldn't) product. It's not actually meant to protect the product. You're better off going with good old bubble tape.
