I will be using it for business and personal use at this present time.

It was just about anything you could want to stamp on something you have recieved or sent out.

Too much pressure needed to ink stamp

I was using the ink pad for a project of approximately 100 impressions. With each stamping I needed to press down harder on the pad to get the ink. I don't think the quality ...Read complete review

I was using the ink pad for a project of approximately 100 impressions. With each stamping I needed to press down harder on the pad to get the ink. I don't think the quality of this product is very good. If you are going to stamp letters monthly, perhaps this would be sufficient.

Store does not stock this item. I ordered assuming it was felt since other stamp pads were felt. I got home and saw Gel-based on the order and immediately cancelled because it is NOT what I wanted.

THE RED WORKS FINE, BUT ITS PAD IS TO CHEEP BUT DIDN'T TEAR UP AS QUICKLY AS THE BLACK ONE THAT I PERCHASED DID.
THE PADS ARE LIKE TISSUE PAPER, WHERE AS MY OLD ONE IS MORE LIKE A STURDY CLOTH.

i have a return address stamp. this color change allows me to be impressive or festive with my correspondence. it saved me money to buy the pad and not have to order a new stamp that comes with a pad that was black. i find that extremely satisfying to know i have saved money with that decision. i am thankful for the convience of a local Staples store near me in Boone, NC. The employees were very helpful and curteous with helping me to find what i needed. Staples you would be proud of your business!

Gel-based stamp pads are just another example why new is not necessarily better (anyone tried Windows 8 lately?).
The claim of 100,000 impressions is about 100,000 times too many as this type of stamp pad was incapable of producing even one clear, dense, stamped image. Maybe they forgot to put the 'gel' in the stamp pad we bought because it did not perform at all. Fortunately, we were ultimately able to locate a 'real' stamp pad with 'real' ink and complete our task. So, boys and girls, leave the gel to your 'do and not for your stamp pads.
