These crayons don't run and the color is uniform making for an easy application for artistic endeavors. The crayons hold up well over time. The downside is that there isn't great variety with the shade range (not a lot of light colored crayons) and there were duplicates of some colors in the box. It would be great if in the future Crayola changed their packaging so that there were 24 different crayons in the box.

    Crayola is the best crayon ever made. Cheaper
    brands break easier, their labels peel off, and
    are sometimes waxy with less color. They don't cost much more than the cheaper brands so they are well worth the price since they are such a

      When I see these on sale, I buy several to have when small children are brought over by their parents. Give the child his/her own box of crayons a large sheet of paper and they can entertain themselves for a long time. Add a little praise and they are just so happy.
