Great Crayons for Kindergarteners

These crayons are perfect for my Kindergartener. His teacher requested both these along with the regular 24-pack so that they could start with these eight, large crayons. Eventually, they'll graduate to the 24-pack.

My only issue was the price. When I started to purchase items for the school supply list, I couldn't find them in most of the major chains. I thought I'd duck into Staples to see if they did. I was glad to see that they did, however, they were much more expensive than I was expecting. To be fair, it may have been simply because they are more of a specialty item.

Other than that, I would recommend these crayons to anyone!

Breakable crayons

I remember the fat Crayolas being fatter -- and sturdier -- for little hands. I was disappointed that they broke so easily. They do come right off furniture, etc., though.

    Crayola crayons are worth the extra cost - they color better without leaving behind waxy clumps and funny smells like some of the lesser brands. These crayons also wash off easily. Plus, if you have trouble with your kids breaking their crayons, these ones are more sturdy.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        I am in LOVE with these crayons. When it comes to walls, my son thinks they are his canvas. So these crayons allow him to continue to draw and me to wash his "art" off of my walls! :)

            My two really likes to color all the time.
            The greatest thing about this product is that the crayons are washable.
            The not so great thing is staples never has the sixteen box of the crayons and I always have to buy two boxes of eight.
