These are better than regular waxy oil pastels. Soft and smearable, and add water and a paint brush to get another great effect. Easy to use and fun for all ages.

Was thrilled to find pastels that work so well for a child! The pointed tip (vs usual oil pastels with flat ends) made this artist tool easy-to-use/accessible for my daughter, and we were excited to see the vibrant colors. We went back and bought it as a bday gift for another budding artist recently. We will buy more as gifts and to replenish our supply definitely.
