      I purchased this to sharpener to sharpen the Library's crayons while I work there on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Also, to keep this in my Son's kindergarten class for them to use. This product really does a great job! As long as you don't use a lot of force the sharpener works great! Even my Son's teacher was impressed with it as she used it too.

      The only thing I would recommend is that the cleaning tool be a bit stronger. I broke it trying to remove a crayon that had broken off inside. Just had one of those difficult crayons and the tool's tip broke off.

      Would be helpful if they had information about where you could purchase the cleaning tools.

      This is a time saver! I teach preschool and the crayons are constantly being worn down. The children come to me when they can't peel the paper back to get to the crayon. Now I just sharpen them occasionally and problem solved.

      Overall a better unit than the smaller battery operated ones. Nice that you don't have to peel. Still jams a bit and a little cumbersome to fix jams. At least can change blade unlike the smaller units which just end up in a landfill.Ultimately depends on how long it lasts to determine its true value. Only used a few times since purchase.

      I love the crayon sharpener as a teacher because it sharpens the crayons and peels them at the same time. I used to have to replace the crayons in my classroom when they got dull so this saves me a lot of money. The only problem I have found is that the crayons do break off in there easily and then you have to take it all apart to get to the blade where the tip is stuck. But the pros definitely outweigh the cons. I love it!
