The CyberPower Intelligent LCD CP1000AVRLCD uninterruptible power supply (UPS) for mid to high-end computer systems, features dynamic line conditioning to guard against surges/spikes and offers battery backup in the event of brownouts or blackouts. Its patented GreenPower UPS™ advanced circuitry reduces UPS energy costs by up to 75% compared to competitive models.

The CP1000AVRLCD unit has a capacity of 1000VA/600 Watts, nine (9) NEMA 5-15R receptacles, including five (5) fail-safe outlets for critical loads. The intelligent multi-function LCD panel displays real-time UPS vitals for ease of control. This unit offers connectivity via one (1) HID USB and one (1) serial port, as well as protection for phone/network (RJ11/RJ45) and cable/coax (RG-6). It has one (1) maintenance-free, user-replaceable 12V/9Ah battery and includes EMI/RFI filters to increase the immunity of the load to disturbances and surges. PowerPanel® Personal Edition UPS Management software automatically closes computer files and safely shuts down the system in case of a power outage.

A Three-Year Warranty ensures that this UPS has passed our highest quality standards in design, assembly, material or workmanship and further protection is offered by a $350,000 Connected Equipment Guarantee.

Sturdy UPS - Handles high end gaming PC

I was unsure if this UPS would be ok with my Antec High Current Gamer 620 W Power supply. Some of the newer high efficiency power supplies don't like anything other than the true sinusoid UPS units. This one worked fine. At full power my rig is drawing over 350 watts with a 24" IPS monitor. The front panel display is useful to determine your power draw in different states.

Brand new unit. Connected everything, started up fine. Display tells me I am using 37% of thos 1000VA available. I unplug the unit to simulate a power failure and it reboots my computer. Apparently it takes too long to switch from commercial power to battery, thus rebooting whatever is powered from it. This makes it useless as an UPS.

Staples took it right back.

I puchased this unit because my previous upc started making grinding noises and flashing the overload light. The old unit was an APC and this was was the second one that I had owned, the batteries did not seem to last as long as I thought they should. I did some research online and decided that the Cyber Power CP1000AVRLCD would fit my needs and budget. The setup was easy and the instructions made sense. once it was setupI checked the various readouts and pulled the power plug the unit kicked in and I lost nothing. I did not have to reboot. the unit does what it is supposed to do.

I love shopping at Staples, they are very helpful with information about the products I am interested in purchasing. The Cyberpower was as easy to hook up as the tech said it was. I plugged it in, let it charge for 16 hours, unplugged it and then plugged all my computer connections into the Cyberpower and then plugged the Cyberpower back in. The light came on and everything said ok.
My power went out one day and I was able to shut everything down without loosing any of my projects. The cyberpower saved me.

What a Gem, this is so much better than the APC units I have. I hope this lasts a real long time, until then I can only speculate on the longevity issue. I know my APC didn't last a year before I kept having to reset it all the time. This unit also tells you how much voltage is being used at any given time it also lets you know how many watts you are drawing, this helps in knowing what to plug into it, it even has ports to protect your computer and phone lines as well as protecting your cable modem.
