If you are an organization nut, the Dymo LetraTag is for you. I label everything. It's portable and easy to use, so you can carry it around to whatever you want to label -- crafts, tools, file folders, kitchen storage, etc. It has white paper, plastic, and magnetic tapes. I've only used the white paper, so can't speak to the reliability of the others as far as jamming or cutting. The labels stick well, but are removable without gummy residue. The letters are clear and there is a double-line option, although the letters get rather squishy when you use two lines. There is also a variety of symbols and numbers available. There is an automatic shut-off that saves the batteries, but if you are going to use this frequently, invest in the battery charger ($29 and hard to find).

At first this label maker was great, but now after having it a little over a year, the black print is completely splotchy and missing in spots, no matter how many times we change the cartridge! Frustrating to invest money in something that breaks down and needs replacing after a year.

I label my bookshelves, files, tea jars... it is so easy to use & there isn't much waste on the ends of the label. I really dig this label maker. It's way better & cheaper than my old Casio.
We love this product for the paper labels. When we tried to use it for Magnetic labels, the labels broke the cutter! We are working with DYMO to get a replacement...
It is an excellent product and I would buy it again and have recommended it to my friends. The labels are clear and veriable. Size and fonts work well. The labels stick and stay. Easy buttons, too.
