Good for Staples. It took me a while, a call to Staples, a review of the Rainforest Alliance website and inquiry to them to learn that this is paper from well managed forest lands (chemical treatment,socially responsible, effluence management)so I ordered. I am guessing they can't use recycled content as it can't be FSC-certified, so that is a tradeoff.

When I checked the "technical specifications" of this product I found out, that this is not recycled paper. How can this be earthfriendly? I won't buy this until I find an explanation

Merchant response: This paper is made from pulp that comes from FSC certified forests. The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an independent non profit organization devoted to encouraging the responsible management of the world's forests. FSC sets very high standards that ensure forestry is practiced in an environmentally responsible, socially beneficial and economically viable way.

I do all the office supply ordering and am very Earth friendly and I try to choose products that won't harm the Earth and I love this paper if I could stop using paper all together I would but until then this is the paper I will use!

The paper is crisp, clean, and clear. There are seldom problems with paper jams, which are usually a result of an equipment failure rather than a problem with the paper. This paper is a good economical value.
