Better than masking tape and a Sharpie

I actually use these for everything except office work. I use them to label controls on audio equipment, cassette tapes, and also containers for items in storage - boxes, milk crates, even tractor instrument panels. Using the white paper tape with black print makes it easy to see, even in poor light. The only problem comes when the surface isn't completely clean and dry - the labels will then not stick well.

I have a plastic label refill that doesn't fade, but the paper ones do. I don't consider the paper refills for the Dymo labels a very good value since they're fairly pricy, almost on a par with printer cartridges -- replace them a few times, and there is the price of your printer!

Certainly, you can find this product online elsewhere for less cost. I did. But, the replacement tapes won't stick!!!! Who knows how old they were?The replacement tapes I purchased from Staples are as perfect as they can be. They stick and stay!
