I am just thrilled with my new Epson printer. I didn't have to buy replacement ink for several weeks after purchasing and even when running low, it allowed me to utilize other colors to extend the black ink. I have owned several printers in my life and this is the first one that I don't feel like the cost of ink is prohibitive to using it. I now print everything I need because I know that the ink is going to last more than the others did. My only complaint is that I could not figure out how to change the cartridge (because it is in a covered compartment). I needed to set the screen to the correct spot in order to release the carriage to open the compartment. I'm still not sure how I did it but feel like the next time, it'll take a little less time.

I have almost tossed my Epson printer out the window several times because of problems loading the ink! If you get 2 errors at the same time, such as paper jam and ink running out, you're sunk! And why does Epson give the consumer a choice of 2 sizes of ink cartridge? It's a joke. If you use the 125 size you'll be back to the store in a week for more---and that's if you're only using it for regular home use. It's good ink but it's too expensive and since you can't switch to generic ink on an Epson printer you're forced to use it all the time, which is costly.

    I am very happy with my Workforce 645 printer and ink cartridges changes are easy to do. I like the multi-pack so that I always have a spare on hand when the ink runs out at a bad time. Buying the cartridges at Staples is easy and I can return the used ink cartridges for credit.

    I tried to go the inexpensive route by ordering online from a source that refills old cartridges. When attempting to install, the Epson WF-3540 said "if you use a non-Epson product it will nullify the warranty", so I bought from Staples an Epson 126 dual pack and installed one. It is easy and the printer accepts the cartridge with no objections. The product is great and I will only use the Epson 126 cartridges from Staples in the future.

    I use my printer daily for at least 10-15 copies of documents. The life of the cartridge is at east 2-3 months and then some. I like the easy replacement and the fact it dosn't leak when you remove it.

      My son is a student and relies on our printer for his school papers. I print my financial documents and business letters. The quality and cost of our black ink is important to the household. I've used 2 other brands of printers in the past and Epson beats them all by far! It's reliable, long-lasting, and I have never gotten ink on my hands while doing a cartridge change. With one of the other brands I had trouble whenever a new version of Windows came out and their customer support response was for me to buy a new printer. The brand I bought after that one was messy and only lasted about a year before it choked on paper and broke down. I have never had any of these problems with my Epson products. Love them!
