Had owned and used a Kodak All-in-One printer whose claim to fame was value-priced ink costs. Well - we all know what Kodak has done - dropped out of the desk-top printer field. And I know one reason - Epson. The Epson products were recommended to me by a knowledgable Staples tech and I am very glad he did. The cost of the printer was very reasonable, the ink at first not so much. Until I realized I was using less ink for more prints and documents then had been my experience with the Kodak. The cartridges last longer, do not clog and maintain a crisp appearance right up until the end. I recommended Epson when tech talk is the conversation!

I'm furious, this is a relatively new printer, purchased primarily to print quality labels on just regular label sheets .. print quality was great until this third cartridge change. Have cleaned print heads, realigned, done every trouble shooting thing available and/or recommended. Thing prints like garbage, don't know if the print heads gone bad after only two ink changes or if it's the cartridge but I've wasted half the darn cartridge trying to fix it on tester sheets and head cleanings. Very irritated right now.

      Compared to competitors cost I prefer EPSON products any day over theirs. I have not had that many problems with the EPSON products that I own or use. When I have had to use other products at work, family, or friends I do not see anything that might be better. The quality in the EPSON printers I have had in the past thirty years has always been great for me. Depending what the output results are for, I can use the EPSON ink in printing charts or photos and I always have had great printing on plain paper or on quality paper, or photo paper.

          I recently switched from the #125 to the #127 because a clerk at Staples let me know my printer accepted this cartridge too and that even though the #127 costs more than the #125, because it's so long lasting I would actually be saving money since it gives so much ore "bang for your buck". So far it's already doubled the usage of the cheaper #125 cartridge so I'm glad I found out about it.

            Epson Workforce 635 is the best printer I ever owned. I have had at least 4 different HP printers in business and home and found their cartridges never lasted as much as they stated, not even close. The HP customer service is in India and unless your diagnosis is what they have in their books they can not help you. I also would like to say there is a major launguage barrier, they are hard to understand. Epson customer service, I have called twice and they were glad to help me, unlike HP.

                The yield for a particular cartridge can vary depending on the printer it's installed in. One printer that uses the 126 or 127 cartridges is Epson's WorkForce 633 All-in-One printer. That printer can print about 385 b&w pages with a 126 cartridge, or 945 with a 127. With the color cartridges, it can get about 470 pages per color with the 126, and 755 pages per color with the 127.
