I absolutely love Epson print quality. I find that their inks more accurately portray the images I print and even my forms and documents. I do a lot of presentation work and love the image quality. Why I chose to rate this ink cartridge is simple: Epson cartridges WORK. Many of the refill, off brand, and re-manufactured cartridges have bad chips and from my experience are a waste of time and money. Go with the OEM Epson, it's a good idea.

Ok so the ink itself is not bad I think that the machine that uses the ink sucks too much of it when unneccassary. It doesnt last very long due to it being used for printing black and white and whne I turn the machine on it uses a little to prepare. That goes for all the colors. And they are expensive. The machine consistanly has horizontal banding. And when you push the button to clear the horizontal banding, it sucks up more ink. I am looking toward getting a new and better printer. I am dissatisfied with the overall quality of what I get compared to what I pay for. It is cheaper to get copies at [...]. or even staples for that matter. I am looking for good quality at a reasonable rate. That is why I have a printer at home. After 10-15 prints I need to buy 4 more cartridges to fill my ink which is upward of $60. 10-15 prints at Staples or [...] runs under $15. And I get better quality.
Based upon experience with other printers, even other EPSON printers, these cartridges run out WAY TOO FAST and end up costing too much per page. If you're considering buying a printer that uses these cartridges, think twice.
The Epson printer this ink is for is a rediculous ink hog. The ink barely lasts 100 pages, and at [$] each, cost a rediculous amount. The ink bleeds on the page and creates ink blots all over. I will never buy another Epson product.
