As a private school reading teacher for grades 4-12, I make a variety of games, laminate them, and write words, numbers, labels, and scores on them using these overhead pens. I also use worksheets, maps, and answer sheets over and over by putting them in a plastic page protector and erasing when done. One color can be used as a highlighter, another by the student, and another for correction. I used to have only permanent overhead markers but have now switched to these wet erase. They are NOT the same as white board dry erase markers. With the Expo® Vis-A-Vis® Wet-Erase Overhead Markers, writing can be prepared ahead and stored dry without smearing until it is removed with a wet cloth. It's also nice to have choice of color beyond standard red, black and blue. You'll love finding new, imaginative uses for these pens.

Great colors. I use these to update our monthly calendar in our youth group room. Works well. I've had this for a few months now and it has not dried up on me yet. Though I'd have to say, the fine tips don't stay very fine for long. The tips were more firm when first used, now they're softer and the lines come out thicker.

I use this product in my classroom all year! I
can write on anything that is laminated, our monthly calendar, jobs
chart, birthday board, lunch/attendance envelope... I use these
whenever I want my writing to last and not be rubbed off by a kid
bumping into it. I can trust that the writing won't fade all month
or even all school year! When I'm ready for the writing to come
off, I simply wet a paper towel and wipe it clean! No soap or other
solution is needed. I'm so glad Staples started carrying this
product! I was worried that they weren't going to be around anymore
since their main use used to be overhead projectors, which are now
obsolete!

When friends said "why don't you just use dry erase markers instead, they cost less"? I said "OK, let's both do our project". Then a day later, hers was messed up & barely legible while mine was pristine. She now knows why I use wet erase and that it actually costs less because I use less due to not redoing my work over & over again.

I protect all of my transparencies with clear plastic page protectors. I use these markers to write on the plastic page protectors. When I am finished, I remove the page protectors and place them under running water to wash off the markings. Very efficient and easy.
