Easy to assemble & install. It replaced another tray that was plastic and would fall apart weekly. It finally broke off the connectors. This tray is much sturdier. Its made of metal that won't break and does not have screws to fall off. A good purchase overall!

I have only had this a couple of months and it is already broken. I have found pieces of plastic from it on the floor under the desk twice, and now one of the arms has broken and cannot be fixed. It has never had weight put on it, or been slammed around so it's use has been appropriate. I should have known when I took it out of the box and saw how flimsy it was that it was not worth the money.

Would have been perfect for me, but the dimensions on the width are wrong. It doesn't mention that the brackets that attach the tray to the desk are wider than the tray and not included in the measurements.

Will not fit with a standard desk. more than 6 inches wider than stated. They provide dimensions for the drawer itself, but there are 3+ inches of installing hardware on each side of the drawer. Won't come apart after you begin building it, so it won't go back into the box to be returned. There goes half an hour putting it together and another 45 minutes to drive it back to the store. don't get this unless you have 35 inches or more of space.

This is the worst keyboard drawer I have ever owned.
Besides being flimsy if you bump it with your knee it will pop out of the adjustment slots and end up in your lap. You will then spend 5 minutes under your desk trying to get it back on.
                Junk.

No, the width needed for this Fellowes tray is 28.625". Staples sells many styles of keyboard trays, the Fellowes Office Suites Under-Desk Keyboard Manager needs only 23.35".

                    A:

The wrist rest on the 80383 keyboard drawer is adhered to the platform during the installation of the product so it is up to the customer whether it is used or not. Of course, part of the design of using a wrist rest across the platform is that it provides a guard for the keyboard and mouse as well (from falling). The tray does not sit on a tilt so this shouldn't happen. Also, I am not sure what type of space you have available, but from clamp to clamp you will need 29-1/2" in width.

It depends on the dimensions of the keyboard. The total dimensions are 3.125" x 28.625" x 14" . If your keyboard is a bit smaller then this then it should fit. Yes this drawer will slide under the desk.

It hangs over the front edge.

is the clamp measurement 1 and 5/8 inches refer to the height of the clamp, i.e., the width of the desk top edge to which it would be attached? Some desk tops are thicker than that, if that is the height measurement of the clamp's max size.

also, what is the return policy on the product should it not fit the space I have for it?

My desktop edge it's clamped to is 1 inch thick, yet the clamp is attached and it still appears to have almost another 1.5 inches (maybe just a smidge less)it can extend to from there. Hope this helps.
