We use 2 of these in our recording studio..One under the recording console/mixer board, the other located under the desk top monitor station. Over all the heavy construction is quite impressive. However, a
weak link that can render the entire unit useless (forever), is the large plastic part with a steel hinge pin molded within. If that breaks, as in our case, it spills the keyboard and mouse to the floor.. It would be nice if one could order that plastic part so that the unit could easily be put back in service without the expense of a whole new one, as we've had to do..

I have used this product for a couple of years and recently it collapsed because a critical weight-bearing piece is plastic and broke. This piece cannot be fixed and without it the product is useless. This is the same problem piece mentioned by another reviewer. My Staples Corp. Rep. told me that he thought Fellowes would be good about either sending me a replacement part or remedying this obvious design flaw. I spoke with Fellowes and they indicated that no replacement parts are available and because I had owned it for more than a year there was nothing that they were willing to do in terms of compensation. I am a buyer for several offices and am willing to pay for quality. This is a decent design that would be great if it lasted more than a year or two.

Used frequently for administrative support of the whole organization. Hides away for when I need space to utilize the work area more efficiently.

As with two other reviewers of this product, I agree that this is a great item UNTIL the plastic part that bears weight cracks and then breaks entirely. It lasts just long enough that you probably won't get a full replacement from Fellows and there is NO replacement part.

It's adjustable in many different dimensions, so customizable to the way you work. Only problem I have with it is my ergonomic keyboard doesn't quite fit between side rails. Looks I'll need to purchase a new keyboard, too!
