Overall, it's a dependable product, I'd say, but not top-of-the-line. GE has always been reputable, but it certainly reflects this same standard.

      I am not happy with this product. I have purchased it in the past and thought that I had stretched it out too much. So I made sure I bought the 25' cord. This way I would not have to stretch it, since I only use it in my kitchen and the kitchen is only 11' long. But sure enough after the third day the cord is completely tangled and now it is impsosible to strecth it out.

                    We haven't found a cordless phone that works for use at our store, so we have stuck with the good ol' phones on the wall. We are constantly stretching the cord to get to products of cash registers, and the cords last and last! I only have to replace them about once a year. It's hard to find phone cords any more, and certainly VERY hard to find 25-footers! We use the phones constantly, 6 days a week, so for them to last a year is really saying something about the quality and how they are made!
