    I first bought this item nearly two years ago. Within months, the prong / jack that's insert inside the lap top broke. ... I bought another one. It lasted a few months as well. Note that I don't remove the cord often; it remained affixed to the phone jack and the lap top. Yet, it's easily breakable. ... I bought a third one initially, but after finding another brand, I opted to purchase a different product, and returned the 3rd GE cord.

      The product was purchased to move the modem from the phone jack to a proper location. The new distance requires 23 to 25 ft and this product was the right one to fit in, the color matches, it's lightweight, durable and tiny by size. It worked for its purpose and very satisfying. The price for about 13 bucks including tax isn't a bad price either, for its price, I will definitely reccommend to anyone who's trying to extend a phone, modem or any other communicating device to check it out.
