I first bought this item nearly two years ago. Within months, the prong / jack that's insert inside the lap top broke. ... I bought another one. It lasted a few months as well. Note that I don't remove the cord often; it remained affixed to the phone jack and the lap top. Yet, it's easily breakable. ... I bought a third one initially, but after finding another brand, I opted to purchase a different product, and returned the 3rd GE cord.

I needed this for the fax machine, seems office buffer ate the last one. This isn't as thick as the previous one but it works great, couldn't ask for anything more.
