            The cord is right-angled (towards the right, not 90 degrees) when coming from plug. Actually would have preferred left-angled cord, but didn't see that such was available in the store. Right angling makes cord stretch tighter in this space. Angling can't be reversed.

            I carry one of these extension cords in my laptop bag. You don't know how many times having an extension cord has allowed me to plug in when I couldn't otherwise, and with the multiple outlet end I can even get people in an airport to share their outlet with me.
