The sound quality is good, easy to use, comes with all required adapters, production quality is minimal (wires will likely fray over time), not very comfortable to wear for an extended period and ear buds tend to slip out, length of the cord without adapters is too short. Better off with a headset.
I bought it at the last minute for a webinar and it worked great. Now I use it to Skype, talk on my cordless phone watch videos on my laptop and so much more. Extremely versatile!
This is not my favorite of the headsets; but, there were no Sony available at the store. I have used these before but find that the control button is a bit far from the mouth and the listener cannot hear. Also, the volume dial breaks easily.
The headset is compatible with any phone system that has a 2.5mm or 3.5mm jack. You use the headset in conjuction with the handset on the phone system as long as the phone system has a corresponding jack.

Q:
I've been through 4 different cordless phone headsets with my new current RCA phone system, none of them were very clear and had low volume settings. How will this set be different from what I've used in the past (GE, Phillips)?

Q:
How is the sound quality of the microphone (how you are heard by others)? The over-the-ear version of this headset was recommended by a colleague, but I'd really like the sound isolation of ear buds if the audio quality for the person on the other end of the line is good.
