    Wanted something so I could have my Garmin GPS unit plugged in at home, without tying up a usb port or being stuck with a non-functional unit while charging through the usb. Since the unit came with a 12-volt automotive charger, I thought it would make more sense to have something that would plug into the wall, and provide 12-volt DC power. It worked perfectly, is very well made, I never felt it heat up, and I'm very happy with my purchase. The price was just an added bonus!

              I think this product is very convenient. My adapter in my car was not working so I needed a plan B to charge my GPS. I thought it was great that there was a product out there for a wall outlet. I had to take a trip and it was easy to plug it anywhere no hassles. Loved it.
