Just Perfect!

The entire 2nd floor is being transitioned into a craft/art/hobby area. After researching the most effective way to set things up, we decided these tables were exactly what we needed.
The price was beyond perfect; on sale, with a discount code and free s/h.
Don't hesitate to buy these, they're solid, dependable and have a ton of uses! :)

The top is 5/8" particle board and just barely gets the job done. What would add a fair amount to the sturdiness of this table and a great deal to the value, would be to have the top made out of 3/4" particle board. Also, the corners are cheap plastic rather than metal wrapped all the way around. Again, not much more effort to make it a superior value (and product).
The table performs as expected, but could be much better. The legs are fine and should not present any problems. The edge molding is cheap and extends beyond the top and bottom presenting a sharp edge and ungainly feel. Again, this is where a 3/4" top would be superior.
As always - you get what you pay for.

The table (will) serve its purpose. When I opened the box, I noticed one of the corners chipped, and two of the holders that hold the legs were cracked slightly. I am not sure if this happened during delivery to my dad's house, or transporting the table to my apartment 45 minuets away. I am using the table to display my Ho Scale Model Trains with my Dept. 56 Snowvillage, and will keep it up in my living room all year all. The chip will be covered with felt, and the cracks I am not too worried about since the table will not be moved, and since it will not be holding much weight anyway. Yes, I am still glad I purchased it.

Overall, the table (will) serve its purpose. However, when I opened up the box, I noticed a chip in the corner of the table, and two of the slots that the legs go in are cracked slightly. I am not sure if that happened during delivery to my dad's house, or during transport to my apartment 45 minuets away. I plan on putting my Ho Scale model trains on it with my Dept. 56 Snowvillage. I was looking for a good, multi-purpose table that would fold away when I didn't need it. And I found it! This table is good for so many things when you need extra table space. I'm an artist and I love getting it out to do watercolor - plenty of table space. When extra people come to dinner, viola!, I have a place for them to sit. When I need to have a project laid out - I have the space now with this table. It's truly just what you need, and when you don't need it, it folds away easily and takes up little storage space. I love it.

The locking piece at the top of the leg broke when opening the leg. Unfortunately, the table was needed ASAP so it had to be used and couldn't return. We secured the leg and have been using it. It does hold the weight, approx 100 lbs. I would suggest being extra careful when opening.

This was the last one the store had. No one offered to help me get it to check out or to may car so I had to drag the box everywhere. Then, when I finally got it home discovered that one of the legs was broken, which I could not tell when I bought it since it was in a box. I fixed it with duct tape, but now it is permanently in the open position in my garage.

What is the distance (in inches) between the table legs? I want to fit the equivalent of two office chairs under the table, on just one side. So I need to know the exact dimension. Thanks!

  There is no exact dimension shown on all the websites I checked; however, they all have said that this table can seat up to four chairs easily. You should be alright on what you're trying to accomplish.

  Melamine is a synthetic polymer which is fire resistant and heat tolerant. Melamine resin is a very versatile material with a highly stable structure. It is not scratch resistant.
