HP Reliability and Performance

Product is used in day to day typical small office environment. Although the cost of replacement cartridges is prohibitive, the HP printer/cartridges have proven to outlast other printer/cartridges we have tried (Dell, Brother). So, we bite the bullett and are in the midst of replacing our three non-HP printers to have one reliable brand to deal with

I own three hp office jet machines for my business, so i purchase quiet a bit of ink regularly. So i buy ink thinking it should last a resonable amount of time WRONG!!!They design these cartriges to only last till about half full then the machines tell you there empty and make the printers inoperable so you have to replace the ink right then or the printer is useless! i've had to swap out two cartriges in the last month because there defective!! Stay away from HP they are currently in a multi lawsuit for what I just told you. I WILL not EVER buy another HP product and I suggest you do the same.

Actually, I can't comment on this magenta cartridge, as I just received it, but the one it replaced (that was installed in December 2012) was hardly used and was already out of ink. By contrast, the blue and yellow aren't even 1/4 gone, and they have been used at least as much and most likely more than the magenta.
