Boought this to replace a Blackberry BlueTooth that was difficult to use. It kept starting up in the music mode and would not search for my blue tooth enabled cell phone and required several re-boots to be able to use the blue tooth with my cell phone. It also seemed to drop out in some low spots.

Have had none of thies problems with the Jabra blue tooth device. The Jabra quickly finds and links to the cell phone. The sound quality is excellent. The range is very good; in fact, I forgot to disconnect it when I went from my car in the parking lot to my office on a second floor of the building and it maintained the connection until I manually disconnected.

Comments about Jabra DRIVE Bluetooth® in-car speakerphone:

This speakerphone has good sound quality as well as noise cancellation. It is easy to install and has good battery life.
The only problem is that the connection with my cell phone (Motorola) when I return to the car after leaving it on, is intermittent. The speakerphone needs to be turned off and back on to maintain a connection without drop outs. The problem does not appear to occur with my wife's LG.
Since each of us has separate units and I have not taken the time to experiment, I do not know if the problem pertains to my Motorola or to the specific unit I have.
Remembering to turn off the unit when I leave the car and turning it back on when I return, solves the problem. Also, leaving the cell phone in the car during short stops suffices to eliminate the problem.

When I tried to use voice commands, it would always misunderstand and I would have to cancel the call. Only once in about 9-10 times did it correctly find the number I wanted. I would not reccommend this product.

Generally a Jabra DRIVE Bluetooth® in-car speakerphone should be compatible with these Samsung products: Ch@t 335, most Galaxy models, Omnia W, and Wave 723.

This Jabra DRIVE Bluetooth in-car speakerphone should be compatible with most cell phones.

Jabra Drive is connected to a mobile phone using a procedure called ‘pairing’. By following a few simple steps, a phone can be paired with the speakerphone in a matter of minutes.
1 Activate Bluetooth on your mobile phone Please check the manual for your mobile phone.
2 Put the speakerphone in pairing mode When you turn on your Jabra Drive for the first time, the
speakerphone will automatically start up in pairing mode – i.e. it can be detected by your phone. When the speakerphone is in pairing mode the status light will flash rapidly blue.
3 Set your Bluetooth phone to ‘search’ for the Jabra Drive Follow your phone’s instruction guide. First make sure that Bluetooth is activated on your mobile phone. Then set your phone to search for devices. This usually involves going to a ‘setup,’ ‘connect’ or ‘Bluetooth’ menu on your phone and selecting the option to ‘search’ or ‘add’ a Bluetooth Phone dependent device.

To review the manual please visit the following link on the manufactures website :
