Cartridge Performance Capacity

These low yield(as clearly labeled by LexMark) cartridges may cost 35% less than 16/26; but prints almost 55% less than those 16/26 cartridges. The above is only related to printing regular text as in letters, lables, receipts, etc.
I would recommend as far as quality of manufacture and function; but not as cost effective

When the ink cartridge is new, I copy photos in color and they look great. The black ink cartridge #17 seems to last longer than the color cartridge #27....please find a way to charge less!! Very costly to replace often!!

The printer is slow and was complicated to set up. The quality of the color printing is just so so. I very infrequently use this printer and the cartriges tend to dry up, and they aren't inexpensive to replace.

As a retired electrical engineer (35 years) and software engineer ( 15 years), I have used, both at home and at work, many brands and models of printers (e.g., Star dot matrix impact ink ribbon printer, multiple models of HP single function and multifunction laser and ink jet printers, multiple models of Xerox copier/wireless network laser printers, Brothers multifunction color laser printer, Canon wireless ink jet multifunction printer, and a Lexmark single function ink jet printer. The Lexmark printer's print quality is a competitive match for any of the other printers
