This was a replacement for some wimpy, flimsy, hollow, useless door stops we bought at another store. We bought FOUR of them at [$] each!!!! It was a complete waste of money because our toddler could move the doors and play with the stops. They've become toddler toys. We needed door stops so he couldn't shut himself up in various rooms. THIS door stop works very well, and is much like the workhorse of a solid piece we used to be able to buy when I was growing up. It continues to work, but as the toddler gets bigger and stronger not much seems to be holding him back, which will probably include this door stop.

I love my new door stop! It is the biggest one I could find! The sheer size of it makes the ladies smile everytime they see it. I find that it doubles as a wheel chock for airplanes and UPS trucks, but you can use it for a door stop too...perhaps you may find that it can even keep robbers from burglarizing your house if you put it on the inside while the door is locked. Most people who see my enormous door stop wanna play with it, but I try to keep it out of their hands.

I love this giant stopper, it really keeps the door open. It is really durable, with a simple design. I also bought the small stopper and couldn't hold the door open for a long time. I should have bought the giant stopper first!

I use the product to keep a heavy door open when I can't use my hands to hold the door open, esp., when bringing in groceries and other packages, and the packages themselves aren't heavy enough to keep the door open.
