I am a spotter for the National Weather Service and it comes in handy when I need to watch for certain things that I report i.e rainfall totals, wind speeds,etc. With this I always know when conditions are favorable for storms, high winds, flooding,etc. It is a real asset to my weather reporting.

    A good battery backup NOAA weather clock radio except the time is so small it is hard to read. It should be called a calendar radio as the date is big and bold and very easy to read. But alas I need to know the time many more times than I need to know the date.
