Do NOT buy this product. For starters, no where in the advertisiement does it state that these are made out of METAL, rather than wood. When Staples advertisements state, "This product is made from 30% post consumer materials," you usually get a product made of particle wood. That is not the case here. The cabinet is made of very flimsy metal, will not hold much weight in files, and is not worth the price. If I wanted a metal filing cabinet like this I could have bought it from a certain popular national retail chain for less than a third of the price (and it would be better constrcuted, too). Not only that but the cabinets came in boxes filled with dust, and the exterior of the cabinents had many scratches. Very disappointed indeed. BUYERS BEWARE!

I have this downstairs next to the tv and game systems. It's very useful to store video games and controllers. Keeps it all organized.

It's just not that sturdy. I know it's less expensive than other models, but I was expecting just a little more craftsmanship.

Still, it gets the job done and hasn't snuffed it yet.

I would recommend it to a friend with all of the disclaimers I noted above. I've gotten sturdier and more attractive file cabinets at this price, so I was a bit disappointed on opening.

I wanted to use this product for a little office I have downstairs in the home. Just to organize mail and some papers. However, this is too flimsy for even that. Best use for the cabinet is as a dust collector. I am throwing it out. It's not even worth sending back. For the price I paid this was really a STEAL. Like I said, a soda can is more durable than this. Best to pass this one over if you are buying a file cabinet for home or office.
