Fell apart out of the package; had to glue the red ink strip in; date numbers don't line up. Really disappointed.

I purchased this stamp to replace the one we had for several years. The only thing that was wrong with the old one was the year date ended in 2012. I used stamps like this when I was in the work force and loved them. My hubby uses this to help keep track of the paid/unpaid and date received for out household bills. Now budgeting is easier, the bills get paid on time and once I KNOW they're paid I can file them away. This has taken care of the huge piles of envelopes and paper that seems to accumulate in large piles all over my kitchen table! They are expensive, but they are easy to re-ink and I've never had one break or wear out. This was a great purchase for my home!

This stamp is OK... but plan on replacing it about once a year. Definitely not as heavy-duty as ones we have purchased in the past; it has all plastic construction. The moving parts break or just plain wear out after a year of every-day use. I sure wish Staples would carry a better quality "Paid" stamp, but this is the only one we've been able to find.
