I bought this because my gov't office wouldn't replace the outdated stamp I'd been using. It's basically the same design and my last one. I love it. The stamp is perfectly clear. I like that it has little grips on the bottom to help prevent sliding around the desk. The wheels are hard to turn, but I'm sure they will loosen with usage. I think it's a great value and I'm certain it will last for a long time.

Self Inker

I would not advise purchase of this if it is used frequently. It needs to be reinked frequently and is VERY messy to do. Select something else.

The date stamper is easy to use and easy to set up. It is very cost efficient the mail problem is that although it is self inking you must refill the ink pads from a bottle instead of being able to put in another ink pad. That make is messy.

I bought this Dater at your San Bernardino Store. When I got home, I opened the package and tried to figure out how to set it up. There were no directions on the Dater or packaging. I attempted to put the stamp pad into the dater. I couldn't figure it out. I got my hands all messy with ink and still did not get it set up. Now I have a Dater in which the stamp pad is stuck in and I can't get it out. I'm afraid that I will break it in the process. It's of no use to me now. I will have to take it back to your store and see what they will do about it.

This product is poor. Does not last and fell apart after 2 months. I took it back to the store without a receipt and the store manager at Housley Road in Annapolis was nasty. I found the receipt and I am taking it back today. I hope I do not get treated the same way. This is no way to treat a business customer!

This date stamper does not work well at all. The date never comes out all at once it is always missing something. I cannot tell how to change the date but I finally figured it out. I think this is really hard to use and if I could find the receipt I would return it.

  A:
  The ink pad is visible from the side of the stamp - you can see the edges (about 1/4" by 1.25") Press in on one side of the rectangle until it pops loose. Then press the stamp down just a little against a desk to relieve the pressure from the ink pad. The pad should slide out freely at that point. To install a new pad, gently but firmly push the new pad into place.

  You remove the stamp pad (located underneath the Offistamp white logo) and add a couple drops of item 520147 and 520149 to the pad.

  The recommended replacement stamp pad is item # 920330. item # 514030 is the same size but because the manufactures are different. One is staples brand and the stamp you are asking about is from a different vendor but Marking Products says that while you should use recommended item this item should work as well. Thanks
