I use these pens primarily for taking notes in class (I am a graduate student getting my masters degree in mental health counseling). I like them because I can change color for different topics and that helps me recall the information a little easier later on.

I also use these pens as tools in my internship counseling sessions for different creative therapy options. The fine tip works great for writing and the variety of colors work well for clients to express their feelings and emotions through color. I especially like using them for having clients draw genograms to depict the family dynamics from which they came.

Additionally, they are fun to use for just plain doodles--with a little more pizzazz!

As I indicated I prefer them to others because they are the right size and the rigth size tip,but I only use green, purple, blue and red. The rest of the entire rainbow of colors at a bargain price is not of any use for me because I do not use them for art work and don't have any grandchildren who could use them. My problem is that the pack of three [or four?] is higher in price than other brands.

I love these pens! As a teacher I go through a lot of pens, I like the way that these pens write without bleeding through to the other side. They also do not smear, which is always a plus. I try to buy these each year for the start of school and find that they often last me for most of the school year. The Point Guard prevents the tips from getting smushed when students try to write with them. The colors are so vibrant and bold. The students are always asking to borrow them, but because I love them, I rarely share!
