    I love these pens! The 8-pack doesn't have plum, navy, lime, or brown, which is unfortunate because those colors are really great. I would buy navy and plum papermate profile pens by the dozen if they were sold separately, but they only come in this pack. All the colors are vivid and bold, and the ink writes really smoothly and nicely. I have been inordinately fond of brightly colored pens since about middle school and have used every brand Staples carries. I think the green, orange, lime, and pink in this set are especially obviously superior to the Pilot G2 and Uni-Ball Signo equivalents. I don't know, maybe you prefer softer, more pastel peach and mint to vivid orange and green. I really like bold lines and bright colors.

    About the only downside is that this 12-pack is not always in stock at all Staples locations, and I had to go to like four different stores to get these this one time this fall.

    I was initially looking for a set of color pens, which I did not find in Michael's. I wanted some ballpoint pens, but all they had were marker/tip pens. I many sets but this one had a bigger color variety so I decided to try them, even though the tip was bigger. The colors are great and very bright, but lacked the yellow color which I saw in a different set. I am currently using them in a drawing that I am doing with pen and color pencils. They write okay but seem to bleed from time to time and I have to clean the tip. Watch out for any smears when it happens. will look for a better set nest time.
