I purchased these instead of my usual V7 and they have been terrible. I am a teacher who uses pen every day. These last about 1 week then they skip and scratch, even though there is plenty of ink. I am VERY frustrated and am considering not purchasing anymore pilot products even though I love the V7 version. Very, very upset and disappointed user.

      I've been using this pen for several years and really like this rolling writer with an extra fine tip (V5). It's my everyday pen and I go through a number of them each year. The slender, smooth grip is easy to hold.

          I use these pens exclusively for my work. My office provides free pens, and many people love those, but these pens are the absolute best for making my handwriting legible, which makes all the reports I write (by hand, sadly) easy for others to review. I will use only these pens as long as I have a job where I am writing by hand. It is not a happy day if I forget my pens at home and have to use others.

            This is probably my favorite pen of all time. In 8 years of constantly using this pen, I've only come across about 4 or 5 times when the pen construction failed before the ink ran out. It is consistent, not smudgy, professional looking, has a nice resistance on the paper which lends to good control. I love it.
