I work out of the home and am constantly on the phone. Long winded folks, giving webinars and standard discussions all make this the perfect tool. The mute button is very easy to reach for the times you need to tell your dog to be quiet or your kids "yes, you can go play ball with buddy" while you are on that very important conf call with the customer. Durability, clear calls and a mute button are the main things I look for and this one excels in all of them.

I use this headset in my work truck, so I don't need or want a top-shelf component because it'll only get destroyed. Low price-point reflects its utilitarian quality: it won't take much abuse, but when it breaks in a year or so it'll only cost another [$] to replace. Headset itself is lightweight and moderately comfortable to wear, but the unit as a whole is unwieldy to use due to the disproportionately large and heavy mute/volume control pod spliced in midway up the delicate, small-gauge cord.

          Plantronics products are always high quality. Daily use for conference calls causes wear on any headset, and this is a good mid-range set. High-end may have additional features, but don't last much longer, so you need to balance the value.
