Comments about Prismacolor® Col-Erase® Pencils with Erasers, Nonphoto Blue, Dozen:
I don't know what the 2 guys that posted above me use these pencils for but I have to disagree with them in this being a bad product. I use this particular pencil to do rough line art for comics & they work wonderfully for me. Okay, so the lead is a bit bit waxy & it is a tad light but, most of the other no photo pencils I've used either cost too much or smudge too much for me. Or even worse...are NOT no photo despite the claim & leave traces of unwanted lines. Even though lines can difficult to erase if your hand is heavy this pencil makes it easy for me to ink & apply screen tone to my boards & then photo copy or scan without leaving a trace of unwanted lines. I mean you'd think that the waxy lead would make it hard to ink right? Nope! I've use everything from Microns & Sharpies to Speed Ball ink with a quill & nubs. Ink goes over that waxy lead smooth as butter on toast. Plus, being a wooden pencil with an eraser emulates the feel I would get using a good old No. 2. That's why I love this pencil. Also, who can beat [$] for a dozen? That price is sick (In a good way)!! Who!?
