These envelopes have three lines of text printed on the back..."Treated wiht an antimicrobial agent to protect the envelope from the growth of bacteria, mold, mildew,..."
I gave them away and bought new WHITE envelopes without a political statement on them.

I wish Staples let me know of the additional printing before I purchased.

I liked the smaller flap closer plus the security tint and ordered these due to lower cost than the similar envelopes. We were disappointed with the envelopes not sealing, we have to use tape in most cases. I am curious if the price was lower because it is older stock? I will not order these again.

The box came crushed in shipment. Seemed like it was old stock. When I used one the first time, ended up having to use tape to securely seal them giving me the impression that they were old and the gum was not sealing. Thinking about returning them to the store.

The only reason I bought these envelopes is b/c they APPEAR to have a dark lining to be very secure. BOY WAS I WRONG!!! I put a piece of mail in to test it's securability & I could read exactly what was in the envelope from the outside!!
