I bought this to move my non-pedal harps. Pedal harps have harp-specific carts designed for them, but most folk harps do not. I have found this to be absolutely perfect. I can load the harps into the car and still have room for the folded and lightweight cart. It saves my back from carrying the harps and it maneuvers well. I also use it to move huge jugs of water inside for my water cooler and have used it for other purposes as well. I'm thinking of buying a second one.

I used the hand truck for hauling multiple boxes around. Worked very well for about 4 months, then fell apart while pulling a box (about 50 lbs) up stairs. I think the metal had been moving toward fatigue for a while, because I had noticed it seemed a bit off kilter. Then the part just gave out. I'm sure I never hauled more than 250 lbs on it. Good for lighter, bulkier boxes, but not heavy duty.

The hand truck is very light, collapses well, stores easily and was able to move a loaded suitcase and two heavy boxes in one load.
The design compromise to achieve this is
- slightly short handle for me (5'8")
- it is not heavy duty

We bought this to haul around large amplifiers and it does the job very well, and it's reasonably priced. My husband is very tall and would have appreciated a longer handle, but it works fine for average height people.
