This mounting kit works great with the HTC Inspire 4G which is a heavy phone. I bought a different mounting kit and returned it because my new phone constantly fell out of it. This mount also holds very securely to the windshield and has yet to come down- and I live on a very bumpy rural road. I really like the quick release button on the back for the arms that hold the phone in place. It's very easy to get the phone in and out of the mount. It's easy to operate the phone while it's in the mount and the mount rotates sideways so that I can use my phone's GPS or even record video of landscape as I'm driving.

For the price it's not to bad so far. I have jumped between the vent mount and the suction mount. Not sure which I like best so far. The suction mount opens up the opportunity for more areas to place where the vent mount obviously leaves it up to the vehicle you own. The vent clips surprisingly work well. For my civic anyway. On the vent mount there is almost no movement at all when you have a phone locked it. Can't say the same for the suction mount. It is very easy to put your phone in the mount. I only wish the release button was on a side and not in the back. But it grabs the phone and holds very well. I like it so far and is working well and doing what I want it to.

Flexible tool that holds my IPhone 4S at home and my iPhone 5 when I travel. Comes with two different ways to mount into a vehicle. I only use the suction mount as it is the most versatile. The only complaint is that given that the arm is kind of long, the head piece will vibrate and if not carefully placed above the dash, it can squeak. I would definitely recommend and if I left this in a rental car, I would buy the same product again. The disassembly and the ability to remove your phone quickly also make this a great tool.
